Description: I suffered years of agony trying to sit comfortably with a straight spine. Undoubtedly stronger abdominals have helped, but my cushion has at last made sitting correctly a delight. Gently tipping the root of the spine under strengthens the alignment, taking away the strain and allowing me to focus on the important bit – observing mind and breath. Developed by an upholsterer in the next door village, Sarah Scott-Smith, the cushions are meticulously sewn and then stuffed with at least two kilos of stuffing that all has to be teased and banged into place – a long and exhausting skilled job. The plain cushions are a beautiful complement to a yoga room; we hope you find the Rainbow and Zodiac stunningly decorative craft items in their own right.
